SandyShores was
founded in 1996 by Lorine Stansel and Terry Smith as SandyShores
Dog Haven, and in 1997 became SandyShores Airedales, when
we were smitten by a wiry little Airedale bitch named "Sassi".
Friends and acquaintances laughed and made fun of us for
establishing a kennel name for a puppy that was too young
to even be shown, however, we knew that she was something
special. Now we have three AKC Champion bitches, "SASSI", "TAZ",
and "STORMY", one AKC Champion Stud Dog, "BEN", plus a
puppy dog, "BENSON" and a puppy bitch, "SPIRIT". All six
of these beautiful Airedales live in our homes in Vero
Beach, Florida and Blairsville, Georgia and travel with
us to various shows. Benson and Spirit can be seen in AKC
confirmation show rings beginning in the fall of 2004.
We are currently affiliated with the Airedale Terrier Club
of America (ATCA), and as members, we subscribe to both
the Breeders Pledge and the Code of Ethics. We are also
members of the Treasure Coast Kennel Club (TCKC) and fully
support Airedale Rescues throughout the United States.
Puppies & adults are available
for placement occasionally. Please contact us for availability.
All puppies are age appropriately vaccinated. Companion
puppies are sold with a spay/neuter agreement and limited
